Quick quotes
For the owner and the office
A quick quote is a customer and a few words, often with photos, sent from the ClearVis phone app by someone in the field. The office turns it into the real quote on the web. No prices are sent from the phone.
Where it shows
Quick quotes waiting show under To finish at the top of Home and of Revenue › Estimates. The number beside Revenue says how many are waiting.
Start the quote
- Under To finish, tap Start the quote beside one, or tap the row to see its notes and photos first.
- With one site, the quote opens at once. With more than one, tap Quote here beside the right site. With none, type the address of the work and tap Start the quote.
- Make the quote as usual. The notes and photos show under Quick quote, beside the lines. They aren't on the customer's copy.
- Tap Save for now or Send.
The first save finishes it: it leaves To finish and shows Done, and its photos go with the job. A customer marked New becomes a customer then.
A quick quote whose quote is started but not saved shows Quote started, and its button reads Open the quote.
Dismiss
- Tap its row under To finish.
- Open Dismiss, then tap Dismiss.
It leaves To finish. Its notes and photos stay on the customer.
To bring one back, tap the To finish title (or the Quick quotes link on Estimates when none are waiting), pick Dismissed, open it and tap Bring it back.
Crew can send quick quotes from the phone. They don't see To finish.
